One of the great perks of being an academic is getting the summers “off” — ostensibly the summer is a time to focus on research and projects too time-consuming to consider during the school year. Also, there’s travelling. Here’re my itineraries for recent summers, just for the archives.
2007—2008
- September 21—22, Ithaca NY for the Route 81 Conference Commutative Algebra and Algebraic Geometry
- October 6—7, New Brunswick NJ for the AMS Regional Meeting and Special Session in Commutative Algebra
- December—January, Washington DC and Indianapolis to see family
- January 5—9, San Diego for the Joint Meetings
- March 8—22, Yokohama Japan for the international conference
- May 11—22, Lincoln NE for Luchofest
- July 31—August 12, Ann Arbor MI for Hochsterfest and then Saugatuck MI to visit family
